The Importance of Art

“True art is characterized by an irresistible urge in the creative artist”.- Albert Einstein

Imagine a world without art. A world without any music, films, dance, literature etc. All those creative minds going to waste. Art is the creative essence of one’s ideas and imaginations. Art is part of our culture. It should  be given more importance.

Sadly, the importance of art until nowadays is being questioned or taken for granted. Some people question whether the arts are necessary in the school curriculum. Do you think this is questionable? It should be obligatory in all the schools, and families should even implement the arts at home by motivating their kids to join any art class.

“Art, freedom, and creativity will change society faster than politics”Victor Pinchuk

Art makes us realise that even though we have all taken different paths in life, there are some things that are undeniably common to all which are expressed through art; some of these are: love, friendship, freedom, hate and anger. We can say that art defines you as a person.

Art goes beyond time. It transcends the time of the artists who were responsible for their creations. Art shatters cultural, social, and economic barriers, and goes beyond them. Through the arts, artists share their culture and transmit their emotions. Therefore, when people of the future watch your artwork, they could extract some information of how our lives were by only observing the paintings or any source of art.
